Genevieve (Genna) Kruse

With Kalahari Since 2022

Genna has been in the hospitality industry since the age of 14, starting her career at Culver's and gaining experience in just about every area of hospitality-from working the front office to bartending, serving, and eventually finding her passion for Sales in her mid-20s.

Throughout her sales career, Genna has worked at the Palace Theater, Great Wolf Lodge, and now Kalahari Resorts and Conventions-Wisconsin Dells, where she has proudly been part of the team for nearly four years. Currently, she specializes in SMERF group sales and loves working with a variety of groups, from family reunions and retreats for military.

When she’s not working, Genna enjoys camping with her family, spending as much time outside as possible with her two boys and watching football every fall. Go Pack Go!

Why Kalahari?

One of my favorite things about my job is that no two days are ever the same. I get to meet so many different people, hear their stories, and help them plan time together with the people who matter most. I love building those relationships and knowing I get to play a small part in creating memories they'll talk about for years. I also feel really lucky to work with such an incredible leadership team. They genuinely care about their people, support us, and make coming to work fun. Being surrounded by teammates who want to see each other succeed makes me proud to be part of Kalahari, and that's something that naturally comes through when I'm working with my groups.

Favorite Kalahari Moment:

My favorite Kalahari Resorts moments come from the connections I get to create with our groups. I love working with different groups every day and hearing all of the wonderful feedback after their stay. It is especially rewarding to build relationships and welcome groups back year after year. No two days or groups are ever the same, and I love that there is always something new and different to experience!
